The project intends to raise awareness among children, families and the community about the causes and

consequences that entail the use of agrochemicals in vegetables and leafy vegetables, as well as their consumption.

Un espacio para mi sombra (A space for my shade)

The project intends to create a green space in the school land, and convey its importance to the community, by fostering a culture for its maintenance and care.

The project intends to preserve local biodiversity, by encouraging students to be aware of their ecological role and carry out informative talks addressed to the community.

How many bird species are there in the town? What are they like? Recognizing bird species at Pampa del Indio makes it possible for the community to appreciate their natural and cultural value for the region.

The project focuses on the construction of an educational path that helps understand the natural and cultural

heritage. It is intended to develop a didactic resource that fosters the Qom culture ancestral knowledge, with

Spreading Values

The three educational institutions of the town joined their efforts and in a collaborative fashion developed a project associated with the strengthening of such values as respect, equality, communal living and peace, as the basis for the transformation of a society oriented to sustainable development. This project is intended to make a difference in the boys, girls and teenagers' everyday life, taking into account that their social, cultural and environmental interaction will have an underlying value-based perspective.

Tapir Extinction

For three consecutive years, the project has raised awareness on the tapir. Monumento Natural Provincial (Provincial Natural Monument). After working on the characteristics of this species, it is proposed that the extinction issue be studied deeper and that people participate in it.

Our Green Path 

This project is the result of over 4 years of research and awareness with the community that both teachers and students in the biology area and Social Sciences are carrying out in Guadalcazar community in connection with the appreciation of endangered species in this Formosa's region.

Guadalcazar Together in support of the Carob Tree

With the organic garden and greenhouse project, the school covers the local needs of vegetables and native trees production. This proposal involves the Chulupí community, by making tools available for them to produce quality food and, in turn, it improves inclusion of children in the educational system.

The new paved road that leads to Guadalcazar and the Río Muerto zone has become a new threat for the area's biodiversity. Therefore, starting at the kindergarten, they work on such important topic as collision, and parents as well as adults are made aware of the importance to reduce speed and observe traffic signals to protect the Bañado la Estrella fauna.

Pedagogical socio-communal vegetable garden, a school room in the open air.

The creation of an organic vegetable garden aims at making students develop their capacities and learn new tools to work and improve their life quality. Thus generating an integrated and collaborative work, besides providing students and their families with natural and healthy food.

In this Project, both teachers and students work based on integrated areas: Language, Mathematics, Natural Sciences, Social Sciences, Life Quality, health and work project, getting to know the agro environmental system and making an agro environmental practice.

Patio limpio, escuela feliz (Clean yard, happy school)

Every day more and more garbage is generated resulting in a great problem when it comes to waste disposal. At school, it is possible to put simple habits into practice in order to reduce its volume and at the same time, to make students raise consciousness on this. In sum, the idea is to make the 4R real: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle and Reject.

Las semillas que comemos…creando una alimentación saludable (The seeds we eat... creating healthy nutrition) 

In nature, plants keep very precious treasures: seeds and grains. This is a way to teach children how important fresh food is: showing them how they grow. A place in the garden where to plant, transplant, care and see them grow is ideal to this end. Thus, they can see how fun healthy food and nutrition are.

 

Escuela Cabrera (Cabrera School), Miramar

Guardianes de Ansenuza (Ansenuza guardians)

The aim is to get to know the local fauna and flora (Laguna de Mar Chiquita), and recognize endangered native animals and the causes for their extinction (among them, the aguará guazú (maned wolf)). A photographic panel and a technical itemized list are prepared to be used in an exhibition for the community, and the relevant actions are transmitted through the local media.

 

Escuela Vicente López y Planes (Vicente López y Planes School), Balnearia

¿Dónde están las aves de mi pueblo? (Where are my village birds?)

During breaks, children noticed the absence of birds in the school yard, and have also found out that this is also happening in the whole village. This project will allow students to create an encyclopedia that will contain both individual and joint productions, namely: drawings, fact sheets, their own experiences, tales and songs.

Nuestros amigos, los árboles (Our friends, the trees)

Trees around the kindergarten are scarce. For this reason, a project is being developed to care and value the trees and their importance in our lives. This work aims at making us conscious of our role in nature, it thus being fundamental to carry it out at all educational levels and community scope of activities.

Los ecohéroes en acción (Ecoheroes in action)

We inquire into the environment, contributing to develop curiosity, observation capacity and other children-specific characteristics, so that they may get interested in the world around them, explore and search for information, discover relationships and more and more complex explanations, while enriching their games and expressions. Also children may take care of the environment they inhabit, paying attention to health care, getting to know the community where they live. They make researches, propose assumptions, look for information and finally communicate the results obtained.

Project: Sembrando y cultivando Conciencia Ambiental (Spreading and Harvesting Environmental Consciousness) 

Environmental education is a cross axis in the different projects that are developed in the institution: reuse of glass, organic vegetable garden, student cooperative, among many other activities that link the environmental perspective.

 

Business School No. 10, Santa Ana

Project: Comenzando por lo nuestro (Starting by our own)

The school backyard, an abandoned green space, is now a recreational place surrounded by plants and native trees, fragrant plants and native flowers. Today, it has become a space for learning and recreation. At phase 2 of the project, the object is to rehabilitate other green spaces of the town.

This project has around 4 years. After working in the maintenance of the piece of land, the opening of a path and the appropriation of the reserve by the students who attend classes in this place and carry out other activities, in 2016 they go on disseminating the Reserve in the community and the "training" of little guides, they being students who will guide other students along the path.

Eco Life

To strengthen the ecological school, where all activities are oriented to environmental education, such as waste sorting, glass recycling, compost, environmental workshops with the community, tree planting, among many others, which give sense to an institutional project for an "Eco Life".

Cuidemos nuestro arroyo (Let's take care of our stream)

Water is a great concern for this community. A campaign for the care of the community´s stream has been generated at the school: cleanliness, awareness and interconnection with local players to mitigate the pollution of this source of life.

Arborización de la escuela y el barrio. (Replanting of Trees at the school and the neighborhood)

Native trees, shade and a recreational space encourage students as well as teachers to replant trees in their school, focusing on planting native species and taking care of the environment.

Por una ciudad limpia (Let's go for a cleaner city)

This institutional project is developed in different areas. Activities are carried out throughout the year, namely, campaigns broadcast by the school radio, waste sorting, construction of trash cans, reuse of materials. The objective is to raise all San Ignacio consciousness of the actions that may contaminate the environment.

Los viejos árboles de mi escuela (My old school trees)

The oldest trees at the institution represent a natural heritage for the whole community; they inspire them to obtain the declaration of cultural interest. Since then, it has been proposed to construct a greenhouse with native trees and plants.

Armando banquitos con papelitos (Little benches made of small pieces of paper) Reusing wrapping paper of sweets, plastic bottles, and making benches is the excuse for working with kindergarten children in reusing, recycling and reducing domestic waste.

Fortalecimiento del proyecto turístico de la comunidad de Tapé Porá (Strengthening of Tapé Porá community

tourist project) 

It is proposed to give support to the eco tourist undertaking of one of the Mbya Guaraní community of the town. With enthusiasm and together with the community, they carry out activities to strengthen the undertaking that consists in taking care of Misiones rainforest and promoting the community tourism.

Project: Limpieza de la escuela y la comunidad (Cleanliness of the school and the community)

One of the school concerns is the wrong disposal of waste due to the lack of habit of the educational community. The aim is to promote this habit and to motivate both children and adults to keep their community clean.

Project: El sendero de mi comunidad (My community path)

What is a tourist path? How can we share our knowledge with tourists that visit our community? This project

proposes to acknowledge and tell the community about the natural and cultural value of the native plants of the local tourist path.

Project: Reserva ecológica escolar Ñañoty Teroue (Ñañoty Teroue school ecological reserve)

The need for trees and shade in the school encouraged the students to acquire deeper knowledge on the protected areas. Throughout the year, they got to know different natural reserves in Misiones, and thanks to an urban reserve in Posadas, it came to their minds the idea of having their own reserve in the school.

Project: Pintando un mundo mejor (Painting a better world) This project seeks to disseminate Misiones natural and cultural heritage by means of a painting on a wall made by the kids and young persons of San Ignacio town.
