SECONDARY LEVEL: WE WORK TOGETHER FOR NATURE CONSERVATION.
Committed to nature
Nature takes the central place when we speak about Environment and Sustainable Development. The need for its conservation and —if possible— restoration is becoming increasingly clear. Preservation has a double meaning here as part of the debate on Sustainability: due to the inherent value of vegetation and wildlife and as a respository of resources necessary for subsistence and human development.
During the visit to the Biopark, you will get to know the different ecosystems of the world, explore the complexity of the relationships among human beings and nature and recognize the multiple strategies for its conservation.

Biodiversity and its conservation
Depending on the time you have to spend for the selected visit, you will get to know the following animals:
Greater Kudu, Bongo, Oryx, Sabre Antelope,Cheetah, Acuario, Guanaco, Pudu, Choique, Puma, Tapir, Capybara and Alligator as well as the Vetinary Hospiral. (*)
* The animals, order and number will depend on your ticket. The tour calendar (with specific timetables and the order of the areas where the different activities will be facilitated) will be assigned at the moment you start your visit to the Biopark.
Supplementary Material
Here you can download a didactical guide, specially designed for the secondary level. In the guide, you will find conceptual resources on environmental education (EE), which may orient you towards a diversity of didactical proposal as part of the classroom and as facilitators of the educational visit experience in the Temaikèn Biopark. For this reason, we propose that you perform activities before and after visiting us and also suggest that you review the highly valuable documentary resources as part of such activities.
