educational visits

At Fundación Temaikén we are convinced of the environmental education

potential as a key strategy to preserve biodiversity. A prudent, critical, humanistic

and constructivist education that promotes action through experiences that take

us to adventure, discovery, games and emotion.

We invite you to get in touch with the natural world by understanding its

complexity and beauty from an interdisciplinary approach, by means of

methodological strategies typical of environmental interpretation and recreation.

Feeling Nature

Educational visits for persons with disabilities

An unequaled encounter with animals and their environments,

strengthening responsible attitudes in the relationships with the world around us.

These visits are adapted to the specific characteristics of each

one of the groups.

Fundación Temaikèn proposes a trip through nature, especially planned for students and educators of each educational level. They will tour the Biopark together in a unique and different way, thus turning the educational visit into a transforming adventure.

Each stage of the visit invites you to adventures, discoveries, games and emotions. Through methodological strategies inherent to environmental interpretation and entertainment, we invite you to approach the natural world to understand its complexity and to reflect on the impact of our actions on the environment.

Convinced of the transforming potential of environmental education, we have designed the educational visits to Temaikèn Biopark. It is a special kind of education that we consider to be deeply reflective, critical, humanist and constructive.

TOGETHER WE CAN PROTECT

 NATURE

With didactical resources especially designed for each level, educators will guide student groups through the Biopark paths and they will experience together what nature reveals to them.

THE VISIT IS ORGANIZED BY UNITS.

EACH UNIT HAS A START, DEVELOPMENT AND END AND IT IS BASED ON TWO KINDS OF ACTIVITIES CLOSELY RELATED:

Activities facilitated by the Fundación Temaikèn guides

During the tour, you and your students group will meet the guide at the scheduled time and place. In each visit, your guide will show specific content related to environmental interpretation, entertainment and biology, thus enriching the experience.

Suggested activities for
the educator

In order to enrich the visit, based on the professional knowledge of the group, we invite you to carry out simple activities along the Biopark paths. Such activities are detailed in the map that will be given to you at the tour start.
